And by this, it is meant that we chill.

The word of the day is "chill."

As in, "to chill out." I need that, my wife's been busy with school, I haven't seen my friends in forever, and my family's got so much stuff going on I barely hear from them. My brother's going into the Navy at the end of the month, it would sure be nice to chill with him for a while before he does that. Some people I work with are somewhat high-strung, I wish *they'd* chill out a bit.

Also as in "feeling a chill." It's freezing in here today, the fan attached to my desk is stuck and I can't turn it off, and I'm not allowed to unplug anything here without someone from maintenance present. Seriously, company paranoia much?

Also, "Chilly." Or perhaps chili. My company is sponsoring a chili cook-off and I've asked Jessica if she'd want to enter hers. Or maybe I just want it, it's been a while and I miss her chili!

I made chili over the weekend. I had a bad morning and forgot to bring it for lunch :(

I should have halved the recipe, I made too much. The rest went to the freezer. I think we have enough for 3 meals a day for a week for the two of us.

I'll check with the other half to see what's up Thursday. I have photography stuff going on Wednesday, so I'll probably not be much fun to hang out with then. Maybe we can get in some RB. We bought a few new songs over the weekend.

Sweet! Yeah, RB would be a treat, we haven't played in forever. Also Thursday works better for me anyway; Wednesday I plan to write. I've been outlining in my head for a while now, and I think the time has come to begin my next work.

Thanks for the invite, I'll cross my fingers and hope it works out. :)

Today must have been Let's Freeze Our Employees Day (better known as LFOED). I asked them to raise the temperature and it was still ridiculously cold!

We can certainly have your brother over before he ships. We'll do Rock Band and pretend we're British. *grin* Maybe we'll just take it over to the basement and pray your mother doesn't take MORE horrible photos.

You know? I miss my chili too. It so rocks.

Hey Jason, would you be onboard with a short food/health challenge I posted on my blog?
