Professional Idiocy

No Frikkin' Way.

Thanks to Robyn for this one. Cliff notes version of the above article: PETA wants Ben & Jerry's to start using *human* milk for their ice cream production, rather than milk from a cow.

I... I have no words. I mean, I have words, tons of them, but nothing that that needs to be said. The sheer stupidity of this speaks for itself. (Oh, I'm sorry, did I say speaks? I meant screams through the largest megaphone in Arizona!)

Every day, I look at what happens in the world. Every day it offers up something more dumb than the day before, and I think to myself, "There's no way it can possibly top that." But what does it do? It finds a way, damn it! It finds a way to top it!

I mean, I thought we'd seen the limit when the two perfectly sober girls skipped out of school and decided to go get a tan by laying out on the railroad tracks, fell asleep, and subsequently got their legs badly mangled. I mean, I seriously thought I'd finally seen the bottom of the barrel. I thought we'd finally scraped the boards.

Shows you what I know.

This is coming from the same people who believe that owning pets is an act of slavery. Are you really surprised? ;)

All I can say is the mental picture of the human milk farm is the most hilarious, absurd, and disgusting image I've had wander through my brain in weeks.

I think I'm going to go buy a tub of B&J's and throw it at PETA's front window. >.>

That is pretty disgusting.
