This morning, I had a dream. It went like this:
I was back at my old job delivering drugs to nursing homes. Only now, I was doing the job on a white bicycle. I think this was a bike I owned when I was a young teen. Behind me I was pulling a cart full of the medications I was delivering. The cart was a rusty red one, again from my childhood that I would normally pull behind the lawnmower and throw yard skree in.
On my route, I landed a flat front tire. I wheeled around all over the place looking for someone to fix this flat, but it was 11:00pm and nothing was open. Finally I found this one place that was closing up for the night, but the girl there agreed to fix the tire real quick. She rode the bike into the back of her shop on its back wheel, kinda doing a wheelie the whole way because the front one was flat. I didn't get a good look at her. I think she was blond.
There was someone else there with me the whole time, telling me things that I can't remember. His voice was gibberish, and I only ever glanced at him. Never did get a good look. We walked around talking, but the conversation made no sense. Finally went back to pick up the bike and there it was. I remember being happy because the bike was fixed, but now the shop was closed and the blond was gone, so I didn't have to pay.
I went back along my way. The last thing I remember is getting a buzz on my pager. I don't recall the number, but it started with 1-900 and I remember knowing that it was my boss.
Then I woke up.
Take a crack at that one, all you would-be dream analyzers. Let's see what you come up with.

Sexual Interpretation:
The bike represents your sexuality. As it comes from your youth and is white, it's evident it represents virginity.
The red cart, laden with medication, and associated with labor, represents the stodgy state of marriage. Red is the color of passion, warning, and danger.
By the front tire becoming flat, the driving force behind your sexuality has ceased. It is late at night and you take it to a blond woman. Blond women are known for their "fun" aspects. She takes your boring, broken bike and takes it in to be repaired in a dangerous, flamboyant manner. She represents deviant sexual behavior. As she rides off "screen" and out of the picture, it means such behaviors are banned for you due to the rather conservative nature of your sexual partner.
The bike is fixed out of your sight and you didn't see who repaired it, nor did you see the woman who fixed it for you again--proving an extramarital affair will only break your heart.
Then, you are paged by a 900 number, which has more sexual connotations. The temptations of the sexually deviant world are always trying to pry into your conscious mind. Sex is your "boss" which means you probably aren't getting enough.
Career Interpretation:
You are back at your old, ideal job again, but your vehicle has been reduced to a child's toy, which promptly breaks. You acknowledge that you can never have that job again, since it is now part of your past.
However, this morning, you told me the woman seemed to you like Pam from The Office. She's a receptionist, which may mean she represents your migration to a new company. Mysteriously, you return to see your bike repaired.
You seek a new, ideal job. The page you receive represents your current job and the nagging aspects you feel toward it. Your job wants you to work for it, but you want to be free of it.
It goes without saying the red cart represented the increasing weight of your labors. Trying to haul something with an old bike, when you should be using a truck or van.
Religious Interpretation:
The white bike represents your Christianity. It is white, it comes from a time of innocence, so it can be interpreted no other way.
The red cart, which is rusty and heavily burdened with medication represents sin. The medicine are the methods of escape you use. Your Christianity and your sin are linked.
The strain of your sin of escapism is so great that your front tire (faith) bursts, while Christ, the back tire, remains steadfast. You are lost and alone in the darkness, but find a bike repair shop (the church). A blond woman (salvation) rides your bike away to be repaired, and you don't even have to pay for it--representing our relationship with Jesus.
At last, you are buzzed by a 900-number, which is tied to the cart, which is tied to the medication (thus sin). Even when you are saved, you are still being tempted. The boss represents Satan.
In all of the dreams, the babbling man represents society. Always trying to tell you what to do, you can't see him, he's a cypher to you. Congratulations.
And here is my personal point: dreams can be interpreted in as many ways as you like them. :) See how it works no matter which way I analyze it?
Just my two pennies.
Just my 2 copper pieces as well.
Bicycle represents your desire to find balance. The flat tire represents emotional weariness that prevents you from moving forward. The wagon represents difficulties (it's weighing your bike down). The colors may be inconsequential as they are common from your past.
The woman and the man are different parts of yourself, your nurturing qualities and your assertive masculine qualities. The woman repairs the bike meaning you need to nurture the new changes in your life. The conversation with the man does not mean anything other than the feeling you get from the conversation. You said it didn't make sense. It would seem then that forcing these changes will not make sense.
Your boss represents either your lack of freedom and creativity, or represents your self-confidence. That will probably be clearer to you since you know how your boss made you feel. The pager represents communication, so your subconscious is telling you to get in touch with your creativity or your confidence.
To me it seems like maybe the changes you are wanting to nurture are with your writing. Your current state of mind leaves you feeling tired and lacking in creativity. Forcing these changes does not make sense. Nurture them with self reflection. Dream about your dream as a writer, let that passion be renewed every day. It will energize you. Forcing yourself to just sit down and write will only make the task seem harder.
So the nurturing part of his mind decides to do wheelies? That's pretty hilarious. So even his feminine side is a reckless man at heart. M'whaha.
Very Jason.
Wheelies could also be just resorting to what you know that works. :-p
So essentially what you're saying is that Jason's subconscious (dreaming mind, dream voices, dream genies) is trying to make evident, in obscure symbolism, things he's already painfully aware of?
Jason's submind is a jerkwad.
